LED lighting 5050 WS2812B – 8 Bits – 8 x WS2812

A ring consisting of 8 WS2812B RGB LEDs with an integrated driver that are individually addressable.

• Operation of the module is via a single cable.
• The diodes are located on a 23mm diameter circle in an even fashion, and each diode draws 18mA (144mA total).
• The ring is powered by 5V.

Communication protocol allows serial connection of diode modules. Another string is connected to the output connector, connecting 5V, GND, DOUT to each other from DIN. If you use more than 500 diodes, the RAM in the Arduino Uno may run out of memory.

Connecting

• GND – ground of the module
• 5V – supply voltage, 18 mA current per diode
• Data IN – digital control signal from the microcontroller
• Data OUT – output for connecting the next ring
