TDS white 1-999PPM drinking water quality tester – purity meter

TDS water quality tester is a device designed to test the purity of water. It measures the total amount of all dissolved substances in water (PPM).

Measurement is made at the level of water conductivity therefore the amount of dissolved salts can be examined. Crystalline pure water does not conduct electricity and as dissolved substances increase, ions appear in the water. The more both anions and cations, the better the conductivity of the current. Such devices as a water tester give the result in ppm, or mg of substance per ml of water.

• Water 0-170 PPM is ideal for consumption.
• 170-500 PPM water is medium quality water.
• Water 500 PPM and above is contaminated water.
